Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.04%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.04%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 1.60% or 390 points to trade at 24690 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) added 0.22% or 1.0 points to end at 456.0 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to 46760 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 6.62% or 810 points to trade at 11430 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 3.61% or 1510 points to end at 40320 and Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) was down 2.98% or 236 points to 7681.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 408 to 95 and 24 ended unchanged.

Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.62% or 810 to 11430.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.69% or 1.11 to $66.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.31% or 0.90 to hit $69.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 16.85 to trade at $1767.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.1668, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 3.5819.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 96.045.
